I was just wondering where people get their games mostly. I havent set foot in a gamestop in a few years because i order them online when i can and i get pretty good deals. for example my copy of skyrim is going to run me about 55 dollars compared to probably 65 dollars in gamestop. and thats with same day shipping from amazon.

so where do you get your games

edit: poll is acting up forget about the poll

I try to buy from GameStop when I can because I have a membership card and I might as well use it.

I've bought most of my games on Steam. I have a 2TB hard drive and by golly I'm gonna fill it.

EDIT: for console games, there's a Kmart less than 100 yards from where I work. So I walk there to get stuff.

Digital distributor, found one for $40 for the PC, needless to say I put it in my cart quickly before it bumped up in price again.

I bought it at my local gamestation. I would have pre-ordered in on Steam if not for the fact that I really really want the physical map that comes in the box.

You may now mock me mercilessly.

Online from Amazon but not our Amazon, that Amazon of a different country.

Explanation:
I will probably get it several days later (shipping time) but I saved about 25% on the price.
Skyrim costs $80 here for the PS3 while the PC version "only" cost $65 at Amazon (homecountry) while it costs only $60 PS3 and $42 PC abroad. Same Amazon, different country. Just like those pr*cks at Steam. Same Region Code, probably even same big international logistics warehouse...

Captacha:

Sounds like a tasty dish, I'm getting hungry reading this.

Amazon. I've been screwed by stores too many times haha. I trust machines more than I trust humans when it concerns such things

Same here.

I haven't really been fan of Gamestop after they took out all of the PS2 games from the local stores but I put up with it. I've also gotten to know the employees.
Nice people, they are.
