If you love serialized animé or feature length animé one of the fist things you're (usually) consistently presented with is the theme tune. There have been plenty of great theme tunes over the years for various animé but which one sticks (or has stuck) in your mind the longest? Which one do you find yourself humming for weeks afterward?

Long story short: which do you think is the catchiest from any animé, any decade and any series? Be it feature length or episodic.

You can mention however many you like, not just the one, but all and any animé theme tune that you personally find catchy and/or fun.

For me personally I've always loved the theme tunes to Lucky Star, Outlaw Star, Fist Of The North Star (lots of stars), Cowboy Bebop and Dokuro-chan (Clubbed To Death Angel, I think its called), Dragon Ball Z, Azumanga Daioh and (here's a great one to make fun of me about, please feel free to point and laugh) Grenadier.

Now, I know these are the obvious ones to pick, but they're my honest favourites. The theme tunes I mentioned above are ones I just love because they're upbeat, have a nice melody to them and really set the mood for whatever episode you're about to watch. Most of all they get you hyped and put you in a great mood before the show.

Outlaw Star for absolute definite. Cowboy Bepop is great, but not quite so catchy as just 'good'. For anybody who's not seen Outlaw Star, prepare to watch this video on loop for 20 minutes.

I remember watching this on Toonami at like 3am, every night. Good times. Nostalgia go!

I don't think I'd be able to decided. Many of my favorites stuck in my head for days or weeks. I'm not thinking of any in particular at the moment (except maybe "Soramimi Keiki" since you brought up Azumanga Daioh).

For sake of argument, I guess I'll bring up Excel Saga.

I'm surprised no one has said Pokemon yet. How much more catchy can you get.
Maybe we're trying to repress recent tragedy...

Excuse my language but . . . FUCKING. SUPER DRIVER.

This song is basically the only thing that got me through the endless eight.

Toradora! and The World god Only Knows OPs are pretty catchy too.

God, the song now replays in my mind. Thank you, let's see how long it will take to get out.
