Which game character would you dress as

If you were going to a game themed fancy dress party, what costume would you wear and if you feel like it, why?

Personally, I'd where a Big Daddy (Bioshock) costume and all the Master Chief wannabes could eat my big ass drill bit.

By the way, that sounded waaaay less dirty in my head.

Honestly, I don't have a good answer. Most of the characters in video games in general are so generic that I don't see much of a point in trying to distinguish between them anyway. I can't think of many truly memorable characters that one could easily dress as. SHODAN is, by far, my favorite character in video games, but how do you dress as an AI? The Purple Tentacle is my #2 favorite villian of all time, but where does one find a purple tentacle costume at this time of year?

If one were female, dressing as Alyx Vance (or, god forbid, Laura Croft) would be pretty easy. Dressing like the average soldier most video games requires a substantial investment for the sake of a costume. I'm hard pressed to think of many male game protagonists that fall outside the generic modern soldier or future soldier garb (Gordon Freeman essentially wears power armor meaning he falls into future soldier categories).

I would want to dress as Travis Touchdown. But only because of his four beamed beam sabre, and his massive bike. Just thinking about the bike makes me want to play No more Heroes again.

Probably this, mainly because I'm quite lazy and its not too hard too pull off. If I were putting effort in, Naked Snake all the way, facially, just don't shave for a bit before the party, dye my hair brown, apply bandanna and eye patch. Rest would be of varying difficulty to get.

If I could pull it off without looking completely retarded, I'd go as one of those Advisors from Half-Life 2. But since I can find no way in my head that that would be possible, I'd have to settle for an Overwatch soldier, or CP.
