Which game do you think deserves an updated port?

For me it would have to be DOOM II to the xbox arcade,to follow up the first. Another would be Resident Evil 1,2,and 3.

I'd love to see a port of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus to the PS3, á la the God of War Collection. Apparently, though, Team Ico just plans on rereleasing Shadow, and not even an updated version!

It's a shame, too: I keep planning on getting around to those games, and an update for the PS3 would be enough to put me in the front of the line. Even so, I'll definitely play them both eventually.

They were forced on that issue.
A lot of game dealers refused to sell the game otherwise. (-_-)

Still, for a game that thrives on it's low-brow humor, it felt like a less than faithful port - especially when considering that I hold the original so highly.

Grim Fandango, because it's a fantastic game that many people don't get to play because it's so rare. The only things that would need to be added would be an optional hint system and improved controls. For the rest the game can remain exactly the same in my opinion.

I would kill for Thief 1 and 2 to be released on the XBLA or re-released for newer PCs. I was so sad when I found out that they didn't work on Windows 7 and I really want to re-play them before Thief 4 comes out in a couple years.

I'll happily settle for this. I think SotC should be rereleased every generation. That way, we won't have to worry about not being able to play it at some point in the future when it won't run on modern consoles. A game that good should not be forgotten.

Wild 9

An old PS1 side scroler that I'm sure not many people have heard of, but it was pretty dang awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing that game with updated gameplay and graphics.
