I'm playing BILL'S RANCH for months now and I'm at chapter 12. I was wondering which gun is the best to choose for the fights? The one with the best rate of fire or the best damage?

Rate of fire! Higher rate=more damage in a shorter amount of time!
If the weapons are balanced, it wouldn't matter.
The higher rate of fire would have lower damage and the higher damage would have a lower rate of fire, both doing the same amount of damage in the same amount of time.

But I agree on your weapon choice for a slightly different reason, I prefer to see health being slowly drained by a steady stream of damage than lowered by chunks.

This, and if you miss once or twice it won't matter as much as if you did with one that has higher damage per shot, but less shots.

Niether. Take the RPG. [/sarcasm]

Honestly I would take the higher damage becuase well...I like the sound it makes when it kills something....but that is just me.

But really, go for speed. Faster shooting = More bullets = Dead things piling up

Assuming that headshots are one hit kills, accuracy and firing rate are most important.

It is the ultimate question isn't it: Which is better, speed or strength?

I have, in many cases, taken strength over speed in a FPS and vise versa. Seeing most games go for some sort of arbitrary 'balance' in their weapons it is a moot point. You will, if the game is designed like most FPS as I haven't played it, will do what we all end up doing: Using whatever weapon has the most ammo laying around for it.
