Which Internet Company?

Hey all, like some more people here, I'm going to be moving into off-campus accomodation for Uni.

Can I be selfish enough to ask your opinions on the current UK broadband suppliers? Which ones are best for students (cheapest price for good speed/service etc) and which ones have a good record of speedy activations? Or any personal experiences you've had would be great too.

Talk-Talk are dead cheap, shitty customer service, and has decent speed. Also they're very resistant to government demands for them to hand over info on their clients when requested by major companies for copyright reasons.... not that i'm saying you'll need that, it's just a positive thing that they do.

So they'd be my recommendation if you want a dead cheap Internet supplier for uni.
