Ok, so, I'll be ordering a laptop tomorrow. I don't know which one I want.

Here's what I'll be using it for:

-College work (mostly programming)
-Gaming
-Web browsing

So. With that in mind, here are two I've picked out for examples. I don't want to go over ?1,100 (please keep in mind that I'm not able to buy from anywhere outside of the Republic of Ireland, so try to only look there. Dell, elara.ie, komplett.ie, dabs.ie are some of the main guys here for laptops)

Now, I bet people will flood in telling you to forget about gaming on a laptop and get a desktop for that, but as someone who understands how it is when mobility is the most important trait of your setup, I shall not do so.

I don't know much about Asus or Lenovo laptops though, but at a first glance the Lenovo one seems like a bit of a better deal to me. Am no expert on the subject though since thing with laptops is that there's just so many things you can't quite make out from the specs (like, how hot they normally run).

Here are the 2 good options for you:

ASUS N56VZ-DS71 [http://laptops.suggesters.org/product.php?id=149&name=ASUS_N56VZ-DS71]

Sony VAIO F2 Series VPCF234FX/B [http://laptops.suggesters.org/product.php?id=267&name=Sony_VAIO_F2_Series_VPCF234FX/B]

Both of them are good and suit your needs, but I would pick ASUS. Especially if you are going to play games. Just press compare button on the suggesters and you'll see why I prefer ASUS. But still, this Sony is a really good laptop, so if you prefer Sony - it would be a good choice too
