which major developers arent with Steam?

Most EA games (like Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, SWTOR etc.) will be not be on steam until Origin falls flat on its face. Blizzard is completely absent from steam as well.

Squeenix are on there. In fact they're having a sale of their games right now.

Only because of their contract to Sony but if that wasn't there I'm sure they would be on steam.

Console exclusive devs, Blizzard and Mojang are all I can think of. Most devs have realised the benefits of Steam. Blizzard and Mojang already support their games well enough on their own that they don't need to use Steam.

Yeah, Blizzard is the main one for me. However they do a great job of keeping it patched, and battle.net is a good service, so they don't quite need steam. I run Starcraft II through steam though, so I can get the overlay and continue to chat with my friends while the game is up.

Ohhh Bungie! I would love to have Halo games available on Steam. I was highly disappointed when Halo 3 wasn't available on PC.
