Which RPG should I play in multiplayer?

I'm looking for a game I could play with my mate in LAN. I've been looking for a perfect game for almost 2 years now, and can't seem to find one. Here's a couple I've tried:

Diablo
Diablo II
Baldur's Gate
Icewind Dale
Neverwinter Nights
Dungeon Siege
Sacred
Loki (that game was mega-shit lol)
Titan Quest

Any suggestions?

Note: My favorite game is Diablo, his is Planescape: Torment

Oh, and, we're looking for a versatile class choice, good mechanics and good skills. Graphics don't matter that much.

i'd say diablo 2. it's so much better than playing on single player. baldur's gate is also very fun multiplayer, but i only played the console version with my friend, so not sure about online.

Baldurs Gate is really fun Multiplayer if you have some friends who can make it through the entire quest with you... it feels like a DnD campaign.

Neverwinter Nights even moreso.

Oh, and Diablo 2 is awesome. Both are, but with only 1 friend, Diablo 2 will be better.

We already beat Diablo II (including LoD), that was awesome.

So, I guess we'll try Baldur's Gate. Should I get the first one or the second one?

I didn't like the atmosphere of the game. It didn't have any swag.
