Hello, I am Benjamin Anthony Vines. I am doing a psychology course at university in my city of Brisbane, Australia. One of the things that has happened in my life that makes me different is when I was 14 I almost died from a deadly infection and had to have half my left foot amputated.
Not much is happening right now besides uni. Been trying to find a girlfriend, making friends around campus but that's stuff most people do anyway.

I think this question is a LEETLE too personal to and also, it's not actually a discussion. It sounds more like a "I'm sick and I'm trying to gather more information about you so I can twist it to my sick desires!" rather than a "So, tell us more about yourself".

A raver who happens to think penguins are awesome, but you probably got that from my name. Also I like anime, but thats nothing that cant be derived from my avatar.
I am a source of enthusiasm resting under a thatched roof of apathy. I spent too much of my childhood moving and learned not to care about things because they were inevitably transitive and didn't last. That's made me a happier individual because I'm naturally enthusiastic and have learned to completely ignore the things in my environnment which ought to depress me. It does make me fickle though and I don't take the important things in life seriously enough. In spite of my flaws though I like myself and I befriend anyone who crosses my path because I trust that life has generally good things in store for me and, when things are tough, it's life's way of teaching me lessons or nudging me toward things I'll enjoy more.
I have almost no self-conciousness in front of other people and always speak my mind, fortunately people ussually like what I have to say. I value knowledge and the refinement of knowledge above all else and am a light hearted pacifist. I'm brutally self-honest with myself but tell other what will disturb them the least because I like the people around me to be happy and part of that is contributing to their sense of egos. I have no problem with silence and don't yearn to be around other people, a side effect of my apathy. I endeavor to live life in as peaceful a way as possible and see the parts of the world most people ignore, particularly if they are funny of fantastic. My sprirt animal is the moose.
