I used to trust 3. yathzee, angry joe and zeitgeist review.

I still trust yahtzee and if I get the impression that he likes a game I usually go and buy it.

WHEN angry joe reviews a game his opionions tend to match my own but lately hes been reviewing movies and other crap that I dont care about.

I used to trust zeitgeist review but after watching him give tranformers and kane and lynch: dog days good reviews I dont think ill be trusting him anymore.

In short I use to have 3 and now i have 1 and a half.

So im wondering who are the reviewers that ppl trust and who do you not trust and why?

I trust them all to give me an opinion of the features they're reviewing. I then use triangulation to figure out what is true, untrue, misrepresented and so on. They all bring another angle to the reviewing, it's all good.
you use triangulation eh? more like you go to metacritic am I right?

Gametrailers. That's it.

Unlike IGN, Gametrailers actually go in-depth with their reviews, rather than just providing one opinion. Those guys provide an overall feel of the game as a whole, and I always check with them on certain games that I wish to purchase.

None really... I have played games that reviewers all around shot down and I loved.

I really like the Escapist but I just can't listen to reviewers anymore...

I trust Roger Ebert and Angry Joe as others have said. I find both to be good at reviewing films and games respectively.

Game informer. They are the most proffesional when it comes to reviews.
I listen to Yatzhee too, but mostly because he is cheap amusement.

I like gametrailers reviews but thats really about it. The review supplements here are good as well though.

Usually, I read a bunch of reviews from the community, then listen to Yahtzee to point out the bad parts of games, and then judge for myself whether or not those bad parts would outweigh any fun I would have based on the things I know about myself. I rarely pay attention to the "good" parts of reviews because its usually the bad things that are important to know about.

I would consider The Escapist as my most trusted reviewers, but since I read their Conviction review I'm no longer sure.

Eh, nothing enough to assume I'll always agree. The Escapist staff (Except for Yahtzee or Moviebob) are usually bang on though.
Yahtzee and Moviebob can be entertaining (though Bob has gone pretty downhill lately), but I in no way trust their opinion on anything.

None. Critics are overrated, it's only my opinion that matters. I will check out a game if a friend recommends it though, in the same way I do if they recommend a film, or an album, or a gay bar porn site.

I check overall review scores if I'm merely idly curious about a game, but even then I don't hold it too highly. Though I admit I will read through a lot of reviews or previews for games I'm interested in. I usually listen to my friends, as they have the same tastes as me for the most part. But if I want to play a game, I'm playing the bloody game.
