Yes, I am an 18 year old guy and I cried with my girlfriend at the end of TS3.
The way I see it, I grew up with Andy and the Toy Story trilogy.
Andy's goin' to college, so am I.
Who else is in the same boat as me?

I still haven't seen it. I haven't even heard anything of the story other than people always say they cry at the end.

I'm 19 and I cried like a baby, all the younger folks (like 13 year olds) looked at me like I was a freak, but I grew up with this series and I'm pretty much around the same age as Andy...

not i, didn't even come close, and i was sort of disappointed. the end wasn't really as sad as people were making it out to be.

i cried at both the end of Wall-E and Up though. both of those movies built up the emotional ties more thoroughly.

EDIT: I'm 20 and male. i grew up with the toy story movies, but toy story 3 was emotionally detached for me.

I didn't cry, but it got me closer to it than any other movie. Toy Story 3 and Click (oddly enough) are the only films that have managed to get to me to that stingy pre-crying phase.

i mean, it's not like i was full out balling and weaping. usually just a single tear or something. still very demasculinizing for a 20 year old male, considering these are fucking cartoons >.>

i still think pixar needs to give up this kids movie charade. their movies contain way too many political and adult messages, and other shit that 99% of 10 year olds can not begin to comprehend.

The end reminded me of my dog's death (don't take this as a spoiler, it's not, but what's in the spoiler box is, in a big way).

When he said goodbye to Woody, everything he said, about him always being there for you, that's how I was with my dog. I probably had one of my most spiritual moments when Woody said "goodbye, Buddy"... I'm tearing up thinking about it now.

So I went numb. It's probably the closest thing I'll get to crying in a movie and the most connected with any fictional character I've ever felt. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to work off the numb after revisiting that memory. It's a very affecting movie.
