Who else wishes that the next-gen Highlander game wasn't cancelled?

As a big Highlander fan I was very excited to hear about a video game developed for the next-gen consoles and PC, but was of course very annoyed to hear that it had been cancelled. Granted the movie sequels and direct to sci-fi channel movie were probably some of the most awful films of recent years, I was still excited.

The game was apparently penned by David Abramowitz who was head writer for the Highlander TV series, was supposed to featurew both Connor MacLeod and Duncan Macleod as well as a new Immortal who would be the playable character.

There was gonna be a next-gen Highlander game? That could have been epic, man. Or terrible, like most things Highlander-related other than Highlander itself. Though I suppose if I have a strong desire to play a character with a Scottish accent and a collection of heads I can always demoknight.

Yeah, I was looking forward to it. Would have been interesting to see how they'd handle combat with immortals.
