My grandmother bought a Nintendo 64 when I was three. Everyone in my close family has regretted it.

I sort of introduced myself to gaming.

First game was Tomb Raider or Gex: Deep Cover Gecko, can't remember which one.

My mother, i remember looking over her shoulder watching her play Descent 2 and 3 and enjoying the action greatly. Then my friend got a Nintendo 64 and I was hooked from there.

My friend gave me his Jazz Jackrabbit CD. I was in heaven. I just recently got DosBox and downloaded it too. Still awesome as ever.

My dad, all the way. This is a man who spent his entire new years eve playing "Gods" on the amiga, and I'm daddy's girl.. I never stood a chance. I can't remember a time where I wasn't a gamer. We had a Commodore 64 before I was even born, and the Amiga was my best friend while I was growing up. It kinda just evolved from there. :)

Surprisingly, my parents. I think it was for my 5-6th birthday they bought me a Game Boy Color with Pokemon Gold. I was hooked from that point on.

I'd have to say it was my friend in the first year of high school. Up until that point i'd played video games, had a playstation etc (i can remember playing pong with a paddle, and loading donkey kong off a tape). But a friend got me really interested in nintendo's latest (at the time) console, codenamed project dolphin.

My parents. They bought me a Sega Genesis at age 3 with The Lion King. That game is still awesome even to this day and proof that not all movie related games are bad.

I think i was born with a megadrive pad in hand... I'm not sure what got me into it. The Sega, and SNES have always been there.

My dad, he gave me his Sega Genesis back in 1998, he played it with me until he became 43 years old.

One of my older brothers got a SNES one day and I used to watch him play it all the time, and I even got chances to play it. Later on, I got an N64 and it went all downhill from there.
