So the other day my local Fox station shows the Constantine movie and "Devil's Advocate" back to back At first I laughed at the idea of a Keanu Reeve marathon, until I also realized it was a Keanu Reeves vs THE DEVIL marathon!
So while I do love both Peter Stormare and Pacino as ol' scratch, I have to say my favorite Devil on the silver screen is Vigo "Aragorn" Mortensen in "The Prophecy" (which if you haven't seen; it's a must). But I was wondering what everyone else thought was the best portrait of Lucifer was?

I'd add a poll, but there is just so darn many of them.

I think Tim Curry's character was technically named "Darkness" but man he was one awesome devil in LEGEND.

Then again seeing Dave Grohl as Dave Grohl aka the Devil in The Pick of Destiny was pretty awesome too.
The Pick of Destiny oozed with a level of awesome that should consign it to a hazardous waste disposal site somewhere in the wilds of Nevada or southern Utah. It's not that it's "waste" exactly, only that it radiates so much power that anyone who gets too close runs the risk of dying from it---or turning into a Ghoul.

I really enjoyed "The Beast" from that Doctor Who episode, I thought they nailed the idea...whatever it is...perfectly

Technically, Davy Jones is the Devil on the seas so I would pick him. I have always had a fascination with pirates so who better for a devil than Davy Jones and his mighty Kracken. But if you want an actual Devil depiction, I'd have to say Dante's depiction just because I either imagine him as a huge evil being or a greasy haired, black suit wearing, business man with small horns that he covers with his hat,

Does Richard count? He is the "Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness, Lord of the Thirteen Hells, Master of the Bones, Emperor of the Black, Lord of the Undead, Lord of the Dance (nominated by himself on a whim), Mistress of Magma (gained by killing the former holder of the title), and mayor of a little village up the coast." So yeah... That counts right?

Anyone ever see that show 'Lucy, Daughter of the Devil'? A sort of inept businessman interpretation of the devil who is voiced by Jon H. Benjamin...? totally awesome.

That was the first thing that came to mind when I read the thread title. I agree.

I'm biased because it's Doctor Who, but I loved their take on the Devil.

Elizabeth Hurley in Bedazzled, it makes sense that the devil would appear as a hot chick to men, makes it more tempting.

Gonna have to go with Peter Stormare from Constantine. The movie really wasn't that great, but Peter Stormare was fuckin' awesome.
