That Dalish Elf leader guy on Dragon Age: Origins. I tried just attacking him directly so I could just get it to end early. I got wiped. Killed him the second time though after killing his friends.

Some of the regular enemies during the last boss fight in Mass Effect 2. It was a suicide though, because a glitch in the game left one of the last boss's tube thingies half-exploded and I couldn't finish destroying it.
