Who likes their Pokemon unevolved?

I like Pokemon. Well, I like the first two generations, to be precise (I mean, design-wise and balance-wise... not to mention that each generation after second started adding up more absurd and absurd legendaries, bleh). And even though I hate how most of the post-2nd generation pokemon look (and, man, do some new evolutions/prevolutions of established mons suck), I don't like going up with all the evolutions in the first two either.

For example, I was replaying HeartGold (though didn't finish it, hadn't time) with all three starters (decided to spend some time with a second DS and make them all three traded... and shit, do they get out of control all the time :D ) and kept Totodile and Chikorita on their first evolutions (I've let only Cyndaquil evolve into Quilava, it's cool... and all third evolutions of second-generation starters look, IMO, like crap). Sure, they don't get all their stats beefed up to the max, but, hey, it's a mix of aesthetic pleasure and practical usefulness, and I like it.

I don't like all first-tier evolutions, though. For example, Hoothoot is nice, I don't mind him, but I still try to evolve him as fast as I can into Noctowl.

But still. Even if I don't mind how the evolutions look, I still prefer to keep most of my Pokemon unevolved fully. Who does too?
