Why all the Joffrey hate when there's Tuco?

So, I've just started watching season 2 of Breaking Bad and I honestly don't understand why everyone hates on Joffrey when there's Tuco?! Joffrey at least got some background, some reasoning for being an asshole. Tuco is just... Hell, everytime he appears I can only think of bullies in a way they were portrayed back in old American propaganda movies. He's so assholish it's almost cartoonish. But I don't know, maybe he'll get better in future. So what do you guys think? Or is it just me?

While true, I found Tuco to be an entertaining character, while Joffrey ground upon my nerves.

Joffrey knows exactly what he's doing when he's terrorizing an entire city, he just doesn't give a shit about anyone else but himself.

Besides, I didn't hate Tuco, I found him quite funny.

I've seen both and i hate Joffrey way more than Tuco. I don't hate Tuco at all to be honest. Tuco was bad, he was crazy, he was the antagonist, but i usually don't hate fictional characters that much. Sure he's bad and we know he's bad but he doesn't really do anything that really makes us hate this character with a passion.
Joffrey on the other hand

Tuco is only around for half a season or something then gets his. Joffrey will be around for at least the next two seasons of GoT. The reason for the hate is the amount of exposure each has, you don't really have time to build up a hatred of Tuco, Joffrey on the other hand, well, no more needs to be said.

Tuco is just a villian in a show where the previous villians didn't even last very long. You get the feeling he is just a trial that the "heroes" have to face and overcome. Joffey is an actual character, an actual focal point of the story and every thing he does is just sooo shitty.
Plus, Joffey just has this face and these expressions that make you want to put your fist as far through it as physics will allow.
