So, I looked in the Steam library, and it said I could start to pre-load X-Com, and then I looked to see what achievements will be available when I start playing, but it seems people have already unlocked almost all of them. Where is this game being played that all the achievements are being unlocked already? Maybe Steam is lying; maybe it just pads the numbers to make it look like people play the games?

What how come you guys get to pre load it now, there is nothing saying I can do it. Was hoping to get it downloaded before I went for Thanksgiving holidays.
Probably cheaters and hackers, especially on the PC versions of games. Like those achievements actually mean anything if you cheat to get them...
Yeah, the cracked pre-load is what I kinda figured too, after a little grey matter work. Not surprising, as it is so anticipated a title, but a little disappointing anyway.
The numbers could be messed up due to the servers not being properly initialized since the game hasn't been launched yet, or it could be people who get an early copy like reviewers and such.
As for people saying cracked copies... if someone cracked Steam pre-load there should be a story about it as that tends to attract attention. Also, since it's Steam achievements, most pirated copies don't count to these numbers since they aren't Steam copies.
