I've been watching Cartoonnetwork for years. Actually, I stopped watching a few years back- but my sister turned it on today and I realized that the whole channel is on big collection of ADD morons now. That Dried Dynomite crap is every thing that make Tim and Eric Awsome Show Great Job cool, and ruins it. What ever happened to being the only channel that you'll never see a live peson on. I miss the days of Cartoon Cartoons. What ever happened to the good old shows and why are they replaced with this crap. These guys aren't Disney. If they're not pimping their crappy character for money, then why are they turning themselves into crap distributors like Disney and the new Nick. What ever happened? The few shows worth watching, the ones that are remanissant of classic cartoons like Chowder and the Secret Saturdays are either hardly shown(SS) or they've gotten lazy and only release one new episode in a two episode half hour block. So I ask again, what happened?

What do you think?

Update- And now Cartoon Network is sullying their name by making live action shows. That turd out of Jimmies Head was atleast partly animated, but for god sake it's CARTOON NETWORK! Cartoon is very clear in the name of the channel! Not to mention that they entered a whole new form of low by hiring Andrew W.K. Really CN...

Cartoon Network is digging it's own grave. All the cool shows like Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Laboratory are gone.

Oh yeah, the upside is CN created the greatest cartoon ever, SAMURAI JACK.

Unfortunately, the crappy cartoons make more money these days. That's why I'm going to horde DVDs of stuff like Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chicken, and Hey Arnold (I know it's Nickelodeon, but it's my favorite show from when I was a kid) so my kids can be raised on the good stuff.

Ha! Dead! All dead!

I usually think of Cartoon Network with nothing but loathing, but you people have reminded me of all the great shows I used to watch. I do miss them.

Also, now that I think about it I never had anything against CN, it's just because I group it together with Nick and Disney, which I certainly do hate. I'm sure the CN sucks now, though.

I think they killed it when they got rid of Toonami. When a pokemon episode got banned for having a gun pointed at Ash's head, but they have marathons of loony toons where characters get horribly mutilated with a number of weapons (including guns). When they aired Out Of Jimmy's Head (the most god-awful LIVE ACTION show ever on -CARTOON- Network). When they keep on producing more and more garbage American made cartoons, with the most repetitive and predictable character archetypes ever. When they stopped airing anime. When better shows come on the Jet Stream then their TV broadcast, and when they take those shows off JetStream. Yeah. They've done me wrong a number of times. /sighs

Remember the days...

I agree.
Cartoon Network made my childhood great, Johnny Bravo and Dragonball Z made it a great channel.
Alas, like my childhood, it is dead.

A minutes silence is in order...

Ah...the old days when Toonami. Now CN is a heaping pile of shit, the only reason I go on the channel now is AS.

I've lost faith in Cartoon Network a while ago. At this point, I just consider the channel to belong to Adult Swim. They just give Cartoon Network all of the air time that they don't use because it's "inferior".

It's nostalgia. Just like the generation before looks on your generation with detest, you look on the next generation.

Space Ghost coast to coast was one of the best shows ever. But that may have been the start of real people on cartoon network.

I miss the old shows like Tom and Jerry and (even though these were Nick) Angry Beavers and Animaniacs. Now it's all crap, all the time. It makes me truely sad now.

I liked it better when CN started out with the original format of Toonami. And I agree that CN died when Toonami died.
