[a href="http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n.html"]N[/a]. You play for hours to try to beat that one level, with that one bit that you just can't seem to get past, and when you eventually do you don't sense any accomplishment.
But I still keep playing.
haha, i remember playing that... less than a week ago doing exactly as you said and now feel like playing it at this exact moment (gaaah!?!)
outside of that, Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing and obscure JRPG's such as "Rogue galaxy"... seriously, that Rogue Galaxy game (its a recent PS2 one i've picked up from a bin). The story is predictable, having a different cliche for each planet you visit. So far i've had to leave many a treasure chest unopened to advance in the story with no sign of every being able to return to previous planets. Characters are ripped out from other popular JRPG's (such as a character who's blind in one eye, always leans against walls, is too cool for the rest of the crew, has a rusk voice and weilds a much bigger sword than the protaganist... and no, this is definatly not an accurate description of Auron from FFX).
Though i am very fond of the battling system... and that one boss fight against a massive monster and was promised lots more. i've had lots more, i just haven't had 200000 frikking Hunter points from any of them, making me feel like i'm not advancing.
Your allies are retarded as well (you only control one, kinda like Star Ocean style), not just their voices but in Battles they never seem to try block attacks... boss battles its best to let them die and get them out of the way so that you aren't using health potions on them every 3 seconds.
wow, lots of complaints, from me, against games that i like... haha and that was actually only 1 of the games
