I know it's probably been said thousands of times before but I'm annoyed.

I just finished a MW2 session and all I played was demolition as it is my favourite kind of match. In one round we where defending and managed to hold them off for most of the round. With about 3 seconds to go they armed one of the bombs, I was nearby, and through force of habit I rushed straight to the bomb. I found the guy who armed it and killed him, then proceeded to successfully disarm the bomb, therefore claiming the round for my team.

During the changeover I was abused by the entirety of the opposing team (they were a clan I think) and some of my own team along the lines of "WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DISARM THE BOMB YOU FUCKING NOOB/RETARD/******!!!11!!111!!"

I ignored them as I usually do with anyone who talks online who I don't know. It got worst the next round after one of my teammates armed a bomb witch was then disarmed, another of my teammates then said, "...and we have idiots on our team who think the objective is the main point." This confused me as...well...it was the main point of this game, then the thought occurred to me: why do they play this kind of game if they don't do what their supposed to do? Why don't they just go play a team deathmatch where they can just kill people to their hearts content without the fear of people ending the game early. I don't know what is becoming of the gameing world nowadays.

Anyway that's my subdued rage done. At least I prestiged.

I believe it's so they can get infinite kills in a mode where they don't have to worry about that ending the game.

This is why I don't play multiplayer except on obscure/old/artsy/RTS PC games, or local on console. Maybe sometimes LAN.

Here's my personal theory:
The Chernobyl Disaster spread nuclear radiation not just to the northern hemisphere, but worldwide. The fallout from it got into our drinking water, and eventually our bodies. This caused a rare gene mutation that only activated in the offspring of those who drank the water. This mutation caused a birth defect in the children which resulted in either the brain or the mouth switching functions with the rectum, i.e. to spew shit. They would then grow up to become the dude you see in bars with tatoos on every inch of his arm, eating everything with beer, saying that smoking is non-cancerous, and smelling faintly of excrement.

TL;DR Version: Some people have their brain and buttocks mixed up.

PSN actually is a nice place to game. Except for MAG. One of the factions, S.V.E.R has a back ground story of "A bunch of people who arn't as technologically advance, rising from 3rd world contries" However, they are all dressed in rust red and their entire level is rust red. Also, their weapons are incredibly powerful and their maps and tactical hell. ONe level has an entire line machine gun turrets that cut you down and force you to run half way across the map to the respawn point, only to be cut down again.

Needless to say, people hate playing against S.V.E.R. Raven is an amazingly offensive team, Valor is a mix of the two, but S.V.E.R's defence is just hellish. I've actually auto-quit a game against S.V.E.R cause I couldn't be assed that day.

MY POINT: You get alot of obnoxious S.V.E.R people who love to go "LOOK AT THE FUCKING NOOB ASS ******'S! WHY THE FUCK YOU KILL ME YOU DICK!? YOU'RE A ****** CHEATER!" They tend to hold this god complex that you're not allowed to kill them, and when you repair one of your own structures or complete an objective, it gets worse... I had to turn my mic to only broadcast Raven's headsets because it was just too much...

And now Raven people will Hate Spam you for completing objectives when they don't want you to or when you attack people instead of healing them. It's kinda retarded

Honestly, that pretty much summed it up. The whole anonymity of the internet has pretty much bred a bunch of asshole kids who are slowly growing up, which just means asshole kids with a deeper voice and more harsh words than before and likely think they know everything that is anything.

You know the way you choose whether you are a 'pro', 'underground', or just for fun gamer or whatever it is on your gamer profile. Why can't it be configured to play with people of the same gaming mindset as you. Acknowledge that some people are douches, but let them play together in 'underground' or whatever it is. And let the people who actually want to play the game properly play it as they want.

I am actually amazed they haven't done this. It so simple. Sure it divides the amount of players, but with a game as big as that does it really matter.

Yeah, but youknow there will be asshole Noobs that set themselves to pro, and then you have the same issue... It'll be pretty difficult to track this unless the game can actually track our gaming style and sort us.

however, this would mean that one bad game would ruin your standing and might toss you into casual gamer instead of pro... Or a very luck Hate-Spammer could wind up in the pro area after a few lucky games

Which is exactly why they need a vote to kick option as well, lol. It wouldn't be perfect, and it would be pretty messy, but its messy now, and it could help a lot. Even just custom playlists or gametypes for actual gamers would be a benefit. Reduce the xp you gain in them to make it less interesting for the douchebags. Or just place a bigger reward for playing the objective, and barely any reward for just going for kills.

Once again, its been said before and ill say it again, they need to do a complete overhaul of the multiplayer part of the game.

THat's how MAG works. But you can only vote to kick people in your squad, and it must be unanimous. Even a vote to kick option is flawed. Think of the OP's situation against an entire clan... A majority vote probably would have gotten him kicked. Even when we could kick people in our squad, it would run on a timer, and some people simply wouldnm't give a shit, so they wouldn't vote, but for the rest of us it was annoying as hell...

In all honesty, MW's ranking never made a lot of sense to me. What is the point of even starting again? I worked hard to get to the top rank and earn all the weapons, so why would I throw it away? What is the point? Why don't I just keep it instead of becoming a weakling with a Grenade Launcher again?

I don't know what PSN you've played on. It's just as bad as XBL (PSN used to be better, but it's gotten a lot worse lately). The only one without many idiots is PC.

OP, it's even worse in Sabotage. Yesterday I played back and forth across the map throughout the 20 minute timer, attacking and defending the objectives while my team screamed "NO!!1!!1!!1! DON'T PLANT IT I WANNA GET A NUKE"

After planting the bomb in the final minute I died and because of the respawn timer I had to sit and watch my teammate sit in the corner and LET THE FUCKING GUY DEFUSE IT. I messaged him:

"What's the point? It's the final seconds, you could have killed him and won us the game."

His reply:

"Shut the fuk up i let it go extra time cos i want more kills"

We lost in Overtime - Sudden Death. Stupid. Fucking. People.
