with recent technology we have gone as far as eye transplantation.

didn't we recently manage a heart transplantation? if so an eye should be manageable.

I imagine they will use them for research if the eye transplanting technology isn't viable yet. I ticked everything, including eyes, on my card purely for the reason than if i'm dead i have no further use for them and i would want something positive to come from my untimely demise.

Because there are eye transplants.

...Thats about it.
I'm fairly certain their aren't, the nerves are too difficult to reconnect.

Now, corneal transplants, they happen all the time, since 1905. They're very good at restoring sight.

Haven't we been transplanting hearts for years, now?

i hope you're joking. heart transplants are a piece of piss compared to eye transplants. hence why they have been doing them for decades.

I know they can do eye transplant thingies now, but they are one organ i would never donate. They are far too important to me to give up.

I don't remember him having one, other than 'the eye man'.

To anyone else who is confused, this is Bladerunner we're talking about.

No, they can't. Not yet. And, like most organ donation, they'll do it after you die (Read:After you stop needing them)
