Why do you get up in the morning?

Simple question, that can only be responded to purely I would like to see what you guys reply with. I personally get up in the morning to see if a better day will arise. It hasn't but i will awake every morning to find out if it comes. What about you?

Because I slept for nearly 14 hours, and my parents are getting mad that i am not doing something productive.

Seriously Final Fantasy, I beat your last boss, why'd you have to put even tougher enemies that I have to train my characters even more to beat?!

Also, I get bored if I just lie in bed all day.

Mainly work, or meeting up with friends (who always choose as early as possible for some reason, why?)

Plus if I spend more that 10 hours in bed my back starts hurting. 'tis weird.

Because my teachers at school basically said I can't continue onto year 11 if my attendance doesn't improve. Since I cannot imagine anything worse than more high school, I kind of scare myself into getting up. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. To a lesser extent, I guess I also get out of bed so I don't feel like I'm wasting my life. It's just that the getting up part usually doesn't happen in the morning if I can help it.

I only get up in the morning some of the time. Just as often, I get up in the afternoon, evening, or night. Hooray for non-24 hour sleep cycles!

I get up in the morning to see that special someone, to get out of the house and enjoy myself, to escape the sad realities of life by finding something to distract me. I'd explode if all I did was stay in bed. Getting up is the slightly less depressing option.
