How can this lunatic still be on Fox? I would assume that even they have limits. He is going after every person like a rabid animal. Not to mention that he must be mentally handicapped (although that might insult the mentally handicapped). He insults Jews, Liberals, anybody that is rich, and claims that he is a prophet. He held a rally on the same day as the "I Have a Dream", speech and says that it was just as important as the famous civil rights activist himself. He thinks that the rally brought the next George Washington to the world.

I don't hate or despise Fox, just that insane man. Fox itself doesn't bother me very much.

How is this delusion of grandeur possible? Do any of you share my feelings?

Any solutions to fix this man, if possible?

He's still on air the same way Fred Phelps is still ranting about gays and destroying America. Stupid free speech thing...

Only way to fix this problem is with fire. Lots and lots of FIRE!

Because people watch it? If I were the president of Fox, I sure as shit wouldn't get rid of him purely because people watch it.

No, it actually doesn't have much of anything to do with free speech. The first amendment guarantees the right to voice your opinions, not the right to a soap box.

He's taking the 24 hour profit-based news cycle to its logical extreme.

Tell people they have something to be afraid of, and the only way that they can save themselves is by watching your program.

He will be on air for as long as gullible people don't fact-check him and believe his crazy rants and conspiracy theories. The man is an evil genius, and he'll continue to rake in millions by telling scared old white people that he's the only person in the media they can trust.

ITT:people spending time whining about someone they are not forced to watch.

Here is a suggestion, stop worrying about it.

So you want to demean and silence a man who has a different opinion than you? Hell yeah! that's the American way!

He's still on the air because a shitload of people watch his show and the First Amendment protects his right to free speech. So long as he doesn't say anything defamatory, there is nothing that can be legally done to remove him from the air. Nothing short of him getting his ass sued off in a libel case will get rid of him.

As for if he should be removed or not, I dunno. The vast majority of people that watch his show agree with what he says, and probably already believe most of what he tells them, in which case it's just a situation where they use his word as confirmation of their beliefs. I'm not entirely sure if what he's doing is actually harmful. Detrimental to political discourse, yes, but harmful to people, I'm not sure.

True enough, except for when the fear and hate that he and his network spew incite people to violence.

So while we don't have to watch him or Fox News, we have to live in the world they're trying to create.

Also: in before political thread should go in political forum

Kardashinan...every time I see that, I think "Cardassian", ala Star Trek.

"Keeping up With the Cardassians"...heh. I wonder what that would be like?
Probably the Star Trek version of "Leave it to Beaver".
