Why is there not any badges for watching Zero Punctuation?

Ive been wondering why there are none beside those quiz ones. My guess is that ZP is the most popular and everyone would have it.

I think I remember last time I saw a thread like this, a staff member popped up and said that they'd impliment them eventually.

Things may have changed, or I may be remembering wrong, but I'm fairly certain that's what they said.

This, and the fact that at least a fair number of members (myself included) only sign up and become active on The Escapist after finding/being shown Zero Punctuation. It's probably (one of) the most popular feature(s) on the site, it gets top billing below the current issue in the sidebar, while the other series, though still quite popular, receive less traffic.

In essence, the badges for the other series are badges for checking out (and sticking with) other, (comparatively) less-frequented parts of the site, whereas pretty much everyone watches ZP. It's like giving Olympic athletes a medal for competing.

Eh? Unskippable is later in the alphabet than Unforgotten realms.

Because virtually everyone watches it, but I don't think everyone watches Unskippable (can't imagine why not) and other stuff. It's like a bone for us to watch stuff. Yeah, I figured out the plan. The heads of the Escapist play on our desire for badges, then while we're distracted, they work to take over the world. Oh, yes. I'm on to you CantFakeTheFunk, Baby Tea and Ultra Joe.

Unforgotten Realms isn't on the Escapist anymore. I don't know if The Escapist owns the rights to it, or not. If they don't, and they don't host the videos anymore, it's pretty pointless.

Woops, never really watched the thing myself so I wouldn't know.

I think they give out badges to encourage certain behaviours (making friends, being a good poster, participating in activities etc). They wanted more people to check out the videos that aren't quite so popular so they made badges for them. They know that certain people like to go "badge hunting", so it's a little lure to make you see something you otherwise might not have seen. On the other hand EVERYONE here watches ZP so there's no need to try and lure people to that.
