Why don't we have Deus ex on phone and tablets? We have Max Payne,we have GTA 3 and vice city...So why not the game that is considered by many the greatest PC game ever...And don't tell me tablets can't run it.Have you seen the things you can play on tablets?PS1 games, dreamcast games,Nintendo 64 games hell, even DS games!!! I would love to see this and system shock 2 on my Nexus 7.There are so many people who are more talented then me in programing and know more then me in how porting from a computer to a tablet/phone works. So my question is,why hasn't anyone made this? And what other games would you love to see ported to mobile phones and tablets (but lets be realistic here guys,so no Shadow of the collosus or GTA V)

ALSO:Is mah gif giffin?

Because by general popularity Deus Ex isn't the greatest PC game ever. At least not a more popular pick saleswise over the GTA franchise.

Also why is SotC not realistic? It is a PS2 title just like GTA3 and VC. Only GTA V is a bridge too far. SotC could easily run on a Tegra3+ device.

Yes if Android. You (can) have complete access to the game files. In some games like GTA3 the whole file structure is kept and you can even import/export save games to the PC.

And why aren't a billion other games ported... because no one took the time, so get some people together and go at it.

Max Payne is by the same producer (Rockstar) as GTA.

Also @ OP; Why is GTA converted and not other games? Ask the developing studio/producers. There's not one single entity that decides what older games are ported.

Well, considering that the first Unreal engine was an optimized mess and pretty hard to reverse engineer for it to work on other platforms, not to mention it's not that popular to begin with, I'm not surprised it doesn't have a pocket release yet and honestly, I won't hold my breath for one.

At least on my computer it's not.

Phones and tablets have the processing power for Deus Ex but not the input devices. You want mouse and keyboard really. You could possibly make it work with a controller. But not a touchscreen, that would be horrible.

EDIT Misread question, just realised they're actually selling GTA games. Seen on Youtube. Mind blown. I still say it looks hella awkward though.

The graphics, when put to high (any tablet from Google Nexus onward should be able to run it at that) look better than the PC/PS2 versions of it.

I never doubted that, I just have my doubts that anyone is going to win that race against Hilary King using a touch screen

Deus Ex will need a major overhaul to work well with touch-screen controls. It was bad enough when they dumbed it down for the PS2.
The good news are that it will run very well on any modern laptop, so you can have Deus Ex on the go.
