OK I've just gotten to a Hilton garden inn it took me a half an hour to figure out how to get to play my XBOX 360 because they don't have a simple AUX channel now I'm stuck trying to get internet for the damn thing to, but internet on my laptop is just fine all i have to say is why the fuck does the technology in hotels not only the TV but every piece of technology suck so badly in hotels.

Just don't bring a game system. If you're in a hotel I'm guessing you are on vacation. Try to relax without the games 
No it's not vacation i have to go because my brother is in a football game out of town that doesn't start until tomorrow and it's a small town with nothing to do so i just wanted to relax and kill my friends online while i wait.
Have to agree with the second poster. Do something else other than gaming perhaps? I wouldn't bring my black monolith to a hotel, regardless of what quality the hotel was.
But on topic, I think they "suck" because they'll opt for the cheapest model around and stuff it in all of the rooms. I've only ever used a hotel's tv at night anyway and just did stuff during the day. If you're not at home and your hotel isn't on the 38th parallel (obscure DMZ joke) then just stick with a single player game for now. if it's too much hassle to rig 'net up, sod it and chill

Because most people care about view and location, so they just stick one in there to make it look nicer. If they could get away with some cardboard with "TV" written on it, they would.
