Ok, seriously? I can only think of a few people who actually go to school because they WANT to do work and WANT to take tests. Me personally, the only reason I EVER want to go to school is to see my friends. What about you?

OK, thet me get something straight, if one of your reasons is to get a job and make a living, dont put it because thats what everyone says. I know it is true, and it is a good reason, but everyone says that.

So from now on everyone has the reason: To make a living and get a good job.

Because you learn shit. It happens too much that people forget that education is quite a privilige. Remember that it is.

Seriously, this is your second thread in about 5 minutes, slow down a bit.

And I go to see my friends, but also to learn because I find half my lessons interesting, the rest I chose so I can try to get decent qualifications so I can get a job that'll let me live in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed.

First off, I like to see my friends.
Second, I actually learn stuff.
Third, my classes are actually very cool.

Oh, and because I have nothing better to do.

Seeing friends was a great part about school.
Oh...and that I was able to get a job to support my family.
But, silly me for putting the needs of loved ones first.
How could I be so selfish?

Theres friends and interesting lessons there, tests can be (are) an annoyance but everything has its downsides.

I might not like the work, but I know I have to do it.
This is exactly my point. I didn't have to take A Level Maths but I'm pretty good at it and people might think I'm smart if I do well.

I went because I was told to.

I now go to college because I want to learn, which I something I never thought I'd say a year ago.

So you can get an education, which people look for when hiring people. Have you ever seen the people that dropped out of high school? Here's a link http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/ I don't think any of them finished high school.

1) Friends
2) I get an education and can make something of my life.
3) I love my ROTC class. It gives me incentive to get out of bed on those mornings when I really want to stay home.

I went to school because it was the only way I could ever get into college.
Given the choice, I would have skipped it.

Oh, and for the record, I actually liked the lessons more than my classmates.

Yeah Man, i was exactly the same when i was in school, until i got my OP score. (queensland ranking system for school leavers that helps you get into UNI) i got a 19/25 where the score of 1 was the best. i had to do 2 extra years of school to get into the degree that i wanted.

take it from me, when i finish my Bachelor of Psychological Science i would have been at school for 16 years straight. Do what you can now so that you dont have to do it later, it may seem nerdy uncool, hard now, but i havent seen one person from my highschool that wasent part of my close friends since graduation, who cares, and if you have good friends they will stil be your friend.

Im not telling you that you have to know what you want to do for life. im just saying that having a good result helps in the end run. you can still make it up but it's good to have in the first place.

Because I take joy in learning new things. Testing my knowledge and then improving in areas I lack. Unfortunately once I acquire the knowledge I seem to lose my ambition. I've always been quite pissed off that despite obvious displays of intelligence and competency, I'm forced to take a test or write an assignment.

So your future employers can look at your accreditation, acknowledge that you can endure that level of abuse, and potentially hire you so they can continue that trend of abuse with somebody who has a past record of being less likely to break.

I like school. It's interesting, teachers are cool and I actually learn what I want. I've chosen specifics in High-School now, and I'm getting what I chose for. It be nice.
