Feel free to discuss this amazing movie here:

This is one of my favorite movies. I mean that seriously. The boobs were good. Unlike the Friday The 13th remake where the ONLY good thing is the boobs, Wild Things has the boobs and a great twisting story on top of it. Also Bill Murray and Robert Wagner are awesome in this movie.

I don't know what it is about Robert Wagner but he just makes every movie he is in even better. Same with Bill Murray.

I still to this day find it funny when Robert Wagner cusses in a film. He maybe has two major scenes in Wild Things and he cusses in both of them...awesome. He has two others where his eyes and facial movements are enough. There is also one where he straight up gets told off and his reaction is classic. Watch the "unrated" cut of the film and the lunch scene with Bill Murray is amazing. The expression on his face at the end of that scene is priceless. Shame it was cut. You can also see this scene on the original DVD in the deleted scenes section. At least they had the common sense to re-insert into the unrated cut.

Then we have Bill Murray. I saw his name in the opening credits and I was surprised. I knew at that point the movie would be all right. But that can be a bad thing because I was like "Where is Bill Murray...Where is Bill Murray?" But of course he appeared when I didn't expect him to and was like "finally." I just wished his role was longer...see the credits, and the unrated cut for the lunch scene mentioned above.

On top of what I already wrote...this movie is amazing. Like I said I went to see it because Neve Campbell and Denise Richards...sure it has Kevin Bacon and Matt Dillon but I didn't care about them...then the movie started and all the characters started coming together and I was genuinely interested in the story. Even after we get to see Denise Richards' boobs I was still interested and surprised at the end. I loved how it all came together during the credits.

You seemed to focus a lot on boobs in your review. Also mentioning "boobs" and "twisting" in the same sentence may make half the Escapists wince a bit.

That aside, it was better than the average crap that passed for movies back then. I enjoyed it but it didn't really blow me away like, say, District 9 did (I know different genres etc). Wasn't that the period of time 'Titanic' made more money than a DC judge with a lost pair of pants?

I think so, this movie came out in March of 1998 and at that time Titanic was STILL the number one movie at the box office. It is not a bad movie but still many people saw it for the prospect of boobs back then. Like I said I mainly saw it for that and ended up getting to see them and got a better story than I was expecting.
