Will anyone else miss Thane? (Mass Effect 2)

I am proud to say that in my eyes, Thane Krios is the best thing to come out of Mass Effect 2.

It's just a pity that he only has a few months to live at best... It's likely that with such dull reception (nothing akin to "OHMAGAWDS TALI IS HAWT AND... I can't remember this guy's name... He popped his heatsink apparently.") He'll get a mention and a small exposition about the funeral at best. He just strikes me as the best kind of person, and the fact that he's a good person that could pull shit that would make Agent 47 cry only adds to the fun.

It just makes me sad, anyone else have any thoughts on him and his fate?

In the game itself, he was perhaps less impressive. But as I said, better than the other new guys.

And Mass Effect 3 will probably start right after 2, or more to the point start right after all of the bridging DLC between 2 and 3. So that's only like a one or two month period, He could still be around.

I still wonder how they'll account for some squad members in your party. Given that any one of them could be dead, and fans will most likely want to fight alongside some of them again.

He was okay, but not a favourite. His constant flashbacks struck me as being a bit silly.

For those of you who like him, bear in mind that there is nothing stopping Bioware from just writing his terminal illness away. "Oh hey, Mordin developed a cure. Awesome!"

Anyway, so long as Tali and Liara are brought back, I shall be happy. And if Wrex were to make a return, I would be ecstatic.

Tis bioware, ends that are tied in unsatisfactory means followed by epic story to make up for our disappoint. It'll all merge together into the same overall plot no matter what. o.o
