Will it work? That is the question.

Hey guys,
Ive been thinking maybe I should upgrade my laptop to windows 7 and I was gonna ask you guys if my laptop could handle it, here are its specs according to the Welcome Centre on Vista

Windows Vista home Premium
Genuine Intel (R) CPU T1400 @ 1.73 GHz
2.00 GB RAM
Mobile Intel (R) 965 Chipset Express Family
Computer Name (SKIDS-PC)

From this information can you tell if it will run 7?

If not just tell me how and I can find more stuff if it's not enough.

Cheers,
Gregor

It will run it, not too well, but nothing majorly bad, but if you're going to fork out that much for a new OS why not save a bit more get a new mid range laptop that will come with 7?

Windows 7 should run. Maybe even better than Vista, but don't expect miracles. It shouldn't be any worse. I've got it running on a P4 2.8GHz, 512MB RAM, Intel 916 Chipset and it does the job. Not faster than XP, though.
