Did you just take some of the best stuff in the market and put it in a post? Because yeah, you'll run them fine.

Still not good enough for Crysis though.

Calumon: What about Minesweeper? Everyone needs to play that!

Yes, easily, but...

"Skyrim, "

Stop asking us about unreleased games people! Especially ones without official specs out.

That PC will keep you above recommended PC specs for a while, I'm betting.

I know that can run Minecraft on max settings. Skyrim? No way to know, it's not coming out for several months and we have no way to tell the specs.

You'll rape all of those games except maybe skyrim since it's unreleased. But with specs like those I wouldn't worry, I think you'll run skyrim just fine.

Yes, easily.

But, unless there's a big discount involved, why would you buy a Phenom based system over an Intel Core?
Because I don't know the difference :)

A game designed to run on five year old hardware, yeah, you'll be fine!

I used to run an overclocked 1055T (3.7Ghz) along with a GTX 470 and couldn't find anything I couldn't run. In fact, things didn't just run, they ran very well.

In case you're curious, I recorded this on my 1055T rig before moving on.

EDIT: If you're dead set on an X6 chip, get the 1090T instead.

Skyrim is the only game on that list that would even come close to taxing that system.

Quite honestly, you can get away with spending much less money on that system.

Dude, that's a 6 core processor and a state-of-the-art graphics card. Are you posting this to show off or what? lol.

You might struggle with Minecraft - that game is really ahead of it's time, and no-one can really max it out yet, but Left for Dead 2 runs on like a 6 year old engine, so I'd think you'll just about manage.

Oh, you'll want a bit more hard drive space - these days, anything less than 3Tb is just a waste of money - can hardly fit a decent chunk of the internet on anything less that that, and you've gotta keep the space for 11 seasons of Simpsons in BluRay.

Ok, seriously, if money's no issue go with a solid state drive - those things are fantastic, and you can easily work with a 512Mb SSD for programs with a terabyte standard hard drive for data storage - the HD's probably going to be the bottleneck in that system.

If I was buying though I'd go with an Intel chip cos I've bought into all their new chipset hype and seen some really impressive numbers being thrown around. Don't know much about the Phenom, tbh.
