Will RAGE 2 gonna be most Improved Sequel this generation?

Hello,

So my friends, there is RAGE 2 gonna release by id software and avalanche studio and to observe and analyse this game. I find out its gonna be most improved sequel this generation.

RAGE was released in 2011 by id software and it was deem as worst id software title to date. mainly because of id tech 5 engine and bad car combat, game design however shooting is solid although gameplay was feel like modern FPS with slow movement, iron sight, regen health and you take cover of course.

here in RAGE 2 its going to be more crazy, this is more open world this time unlike previous game that was corridor shooter, the shooting and movement is very Doom like with no take cover, the car combat looks excellent this time around and avalanche knows how to nail the open world and car combat design while id software can handle shooting mechanics, result in another excellent game.

It was smart move by bethesda to have 2 developers work on this game so they can deliver best of both and overcome both weaknesses. while id software can solely work on DOOM sequel.

RAGE 2 quickly become on of my most anticipated game. bethesda on roll, first DOOM, then PREY and now RAGE 2.

I think it's another example of an all or nothing approach with these threads, that it's either the "best game eva" or "worst game eva," with nothing in between.

From their gameplay trailer I could just be playing Warframe or Destiny and be playing effectively the same thing. With friends if desired. Never did see the car if they put anything out about it.

Their bland and generic writing, while fixated in a different tonal direction, seems prettymuch par for the original game.

As for your actual question to sequel improvement, thats a pretty wide field. Even off your own threads, Doom is a sequel, System Shock 3 will be a sequel, Metro Slightly Brighter Grey is a sequel. Unless you mean in some strict storyline sense, in which case I'm prettysure (and man am I surprised I remember enough about Rage to know) Rage 2 is actually a prequel.

I dont think prey is best ever. its in between. its shooting suck but level design is great.

I mean, I am curious as to how over 100 years after the asteroid strike there's still working guns, cars, and oil to fuel them, but hey, go figure.

The splatters I got out of their "presentation" sounded like it was before the Authority (was it actually called the Authority? I forget) took over, which the cryopod inexplicably qualified savior of the first game shut down.

It wasn't exactly memorable fare in either case, so could be wrong. Or the usual Bethesda trick of "We're just gonna set the sequel uh... somewhere else until we're far enough along to eliminate any consequence of prior game"

Because Ridley is awesome.

I do wish they could have trimmed some of the fat from the roster. There's waaaay too many Pookeymans, and even Fire Emblem fans like myself don't give a shit aboot Corrin. Plus we need to start removing all evidence that Sonic ever existed so his franchise can die.

There's a good chance it'll be better than the first Rage, mostly because the original didn't really set a high bar.

every single character that's ever been in Smash is going to be in Ultimate so fans can't really complain anymore because now no-one is losing their "main" anymore.

i remember how annoying Solid Snake fans were when they found out Snake was cut from Smash 4 as an example.

So Rage II is a likely contender on account of how horrible the original Rage was.

I can't imagine it not being better than Rage, but that isn't saying much about its quality. Rage had some good ideas, and looked good... and missed on every other point. But most improved... The most improved version of Rage is Mad Max and they already made Mad Max. It will have to be basically its own game and not really connected to Rage at all to be good enough to be at a level of "most improved." Basically it would have to be "Red Steel 2" level of connected to its predecessor. So different its basically not a sequel at all.

So my friends, this is RAGE 2. It's going to be released by id Software and Avalanche Studios. Let us observe and analyse this game. I believe it's going to be the most improved sequel of this generation.

RAGE was released in 2011 by id Software and in my opinion, it is the worst id Software title to date. This is mainly because of the use of the id tech 5 engine and I didn't like the car combat. Regarding the game design however, shooting was solid- although gameplay felt like a modern FPS with slow movement, iron sights, regenerating health and an abundance of taking cover.

In RAGE 2 it looks like it will be more crazy, according to a video/article I have linked in this post. It will be more open world this time unlike the corridor shooter style of the previous game. The shooting and movement appears to be very Doom-like with no need to take cover, the car combat looks excellent this time around and as we have seen with the Just Cause and Mad Max games, Avalanche knows how to nail the open world and car combat design while id software can handle shooting mechanics, which will hopefully result in another excellent game.

It was a smart move by Bethesda to have 2 developers work on this game so they can deliver the best of both world and with any luck overcome each other's weaknesses. I hope that id Software can also solely work on a sequel to DOOM.

I feel like the latest AC games take that title. RAGE was a non-event. I played it, and yet dont remember a thing about it. It wasnt a stinker, it didnt garner huge amounts of hate, it wasnt notorious, it was just a new IP that quietly failed.

Assassins Creed on the other hand is a series which was held in very poor regard, with sequels being one of the reason people thought negatively of it. And yet the latest two sequels have largely turned that around. People are interested in the franchise again. Even those who bashed most of the previous games.
