Hey guys, I keep having this weird error with Winamp. Every time I start winamp, all the changes I made to files are gone when I look @ it in winamp (but remain on the actual files), and window columns and skins wont stay remembered either.

What's going on here?

Go into your Desktop files, and delete file "System32". This should clear it up.
Don't be trolling, this isn't a forum for that kind of shit.

OP:I honestly couldn't say what it is, the menus are a little hard to navigate and set up at first, but once I get my skins and such on how I like them I don't have a problem, maybe a fresh install?

I'm thinking that too, but the thing is it's the first time I've ever had Winamp installed on my computer; so I've had the problem since I first installed it.

I will try reinstalling though later tonight.

What version are you running, maybe try a newer or older version, if you're using custom skins and such they may not like different versions and such.

Psh, it was worth a shot. I've seen people do it before.

Well, not really. I've seen them say, "OK!" then they never come back.

Uninstall WinAMP, install CCCP codec (Combined Community Codec Pack) and use Windows Media Player like every other person. (or iTunes if you're a fan to apple). WinAMP is terrible and the skins are just as repulsing.

WMP is crap and and iTunes like to get into your hardware a little to much. I find winamp to be the best because of how customizable it is, I can have the thing laid out and look exactly how I want it. Because I almost always have it open its nice to have it set up as a little toolbar across the top of my screen while matching the colour scheme of everything else.
