I got Windows 10 through that free upgrade campaign from a while back, and the only reason why my hard drive remains unrestored and irreplaced is because I want to retain it. The reason why I want to keep Windows 10 on my rig is because of Scalebound.

Will I be able to use my Windows 7 installation disc to reinstall Windows 10 later on? (probably a stupid question, but still worth asking), or will I need to buy a Windows 10 disc if I replace or restore my HDD?

back when they release windows 10, there was an option where you say : "i want to install windows 10 on several computers" that was for downloading a windows 10 disk maker software, that was able to create a self bootable windows 10 usb drive. and with that usb drive, you dont actually need to install windows 7 before installing windows 10, you can perform a clean install

edit : oh actually there it is

as long as you have a valid windows 10 activation it should work fine...

Also, they are still giving it away free to people who use "assistive technologies" for an undisclosed amount of time.

There's no check on it and they don't say which "assistive technologies" count anyway, it's basically on the honour system.
