Okay so I recently got a 8 mbps connection from at&t and when I'm downloading files I get a average of 365 kbps from a wireless router on my desktop. I'm using the router and wireless adapter at&t gave me sooo i could use some help please.

It never downloads at full speed.

365? That's pretty damn good, considering I only get up to 285.

Welcome to the lie of 'download speed' sorry you got screwed like the rest of us.

I have an 'Upto 20 mb line' ...amusing. Truly amusing.

For the record 400kbps is the fastest I've ever seen it download and I suspect the person I was downloading it from had a hand in helping it along.

250kbps is pretty average.
