Bleugh, neither, I think both of those are gross, and I would only eat them if there was literally nothing else.

PayDay = Hunk of chewy, sweet caramel lovingly wrapped in salty, crunchy peanuts.

Quoting this for everyone reading this and thinking that the OP is talking about a financial sort of Payday, and not the gross candy bar that I hate because I loathe caramel and don't eat peanuts unless they come in "butter" form.
