Witcher 2 saves into Witcher 3

My Witcher 2 version is on Steam but my Witcher 3 version is on GoG so I was wondering how to import the save between the two as there wasn't an option.

I don't think there's a conventional way of doing it, since Steam reads your local game files, I think GoG does the same. Basically GoG is saying "you don't have The Witcher 2" as it doesn't the detect game files which are linked to your GoG account.

As a far as I know, TW3 reads the saves from "C:/users/my document/witcher 2/gamesaves". It is possible that you've got the saves on Steam cloud? Otherwise the game saves will be stored within a different directory.

Again, as far as I know they're just save files and have no extra DRM attached to them so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues.

O, thanks Mad, I just checked that folder to find there are no gamesaves. My saves are on steam cloud then. Nvm I sorted it out. thank again
