_______________________________________________________________________________________________

What the title says. Note that these are not just the show's in the style of Anime, but complete re-imagining's of the characters, as if they had been created in Japan originally.

They are being created by Mad-House (they did Death Note).

First, the Iron-Man Anime.
http://www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/marvel-anime-iron-man-teaser/325365

Well, the Japanese tend to get Mecha (as countless Gundam series and others will attest too), and Iron-Man is just a human sized Mech, so... high-hopes. Also, I'm getting flashes to "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor." And I don't mean the "meh" movies, but the badass anime series (and the remake)... and the other OVA... and more...

Second, the Wolverine Anime.
http://www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/marvel-anime-wolverine/325367

Uhhh... He reminds me of Sesshomaru from Inuyasha, and about a million other somewhat Demonic Bishnonen characters... Yeah... I'm still going to give it a chance, however, I have a feeling it will be good... but only if you don't think of it as a Wolverine reimagining, and do think of it as it's own thing.

There might also be a Spider-Man anime, but I don't think the video is out yet. I wonder if it will take cues from the live action "Japanese Spider-Man" and have a mech for Spider-man... god, I hope not.

I dunno, maybe it's because I'm listening to the "always look on the bright side of life", but these don't look bad at all! I may consider watching them

Ok just saw the Iron man one all the way.
IT LOOKED AWESOME!

The Iron Man anime looks fucking sick! Iron Man kicking the shit out of what appears to be a pretty boy Neo-Nazi and his goons whilst they all use robotic suits?

FUCK YEAH!

Wolverine seems sperated from the source material, aside from his claws. Though, I do remember him having various altercations with magical beings and going to Japan, I don't think he had his magical altercations in Japan.

Of course. Like I said, Iron-Man is Mecha, and countless Mecha Anime have to have taught those who make them in Japan exactly what works and what doesn't in such an Anime.

It's the Wolverina one that has me worried. Not that it'll be bad, also like I said, it'll probably be good, but if their's one thing that Wolverine is, it's gruff. Making him into a bishonen just strikes me as a tad odd. Still, it does look like fun (and possibly awesome).

Well, like said, it was purported that the anime will be completely sepearte from the source material in all things but the characters.

Also, yes, Wolverine went through intensive training in Japan in the actual series, and even had ***Spoiler that's not new enough to warrant it's own box*** a son in Japan. ***End Spoiler***

As for the Magic, well, yeah, there has been some (read: alot) of magical altercations in the Marvel universe. Some of them involved Wolverine.

Wow wtf did they do to wolverine...seriously his hair looks terrible and he doesn't seem to have any of gritty traits that once recognizes wolverine by. If his claws never came out during that, I would have never said that was him.
Also why are his nails pointy like his brother? Wolverine is supposed to have normal nails...
And then he has metal claws, the anime makes him look really young, he should have bone claws; seriously where is the marvel detail control?

Hey, it's Madhouse. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Iron Man looks cool, too.

Give Wolvie a haircut, and I'm set.

The Iron Man one looks downright badass..

I don't care much for the Wolverine one though.. It just doesn't sit well with me.

Iron Man looks pretty amazing.

Wolvering looks a little de-amesome-a-fied.
But still pretty cool.

I really like that they've used the early 90s art style for the animation, brings back good memories of Akira and Gasaraki.

Lame. I am so tired of the Japanese Anime style. The new Marvel cartoon movies are where it is at. Hulk VS Wolverine was the ultra H-Bomb! I like the American style of animation better. I just want more from the people who did Hulk VS Wolverine. It was mature, violent, well written, and they were true to the comic stories. They need to make one on Deadpool and one on Gambit!

i will give it a shot, i will say iron man looked a bit better, tho not much different really than what he does now. probly just have different enemies for iron man is all and keep him the same, maybe they'll make him all whiny and call him Shinji Stark or something like that

as for wolverine, i'll give it a shot and see how it is, previews are so hard to tell what they will be like

No way bub, Wolverine's American Comics.
Quoting X-Men Evolution there?
These would be a hell of a lot cooler if they weren't labeled as what they are. As wierd as this sounds to me coming from me, if it wasn't Iron Man and Wolverine, I would be a hell of a lot more psyched. Its like what Yahtzee said about silent hill...homecoming I think?

I hope the Wolverine one is so god awful that nobody ever wants to see something with that character ever again, then maybe Marvel will stop trying to shove his shitty character down our throats.

Yes, please.

The Iron Man one was cool though, because he is technically a mecha.

Wow. From someone who watches a fair amount of stuff, I'm not impressed. I didn't particularly like either of those, Iron Man was just as bad as Wolvie in my opinion.

Well, the Iron Man anime has the ability to be better then the new Nickolodeon version of said Superhero. Since he's too old to drink, and they felt the need to not make him a womanizer, his only real flaw left is that he has a tunnel vision mentality. Which makes for a bland superhero, in the Anime, they have the audience to be able to make him a drunkard and a man who lusts uncontralbly.

For Wolverine, they took the Wolf part of the character, and re-based his look around said wolfness this dosn't really bother me too much, as long as he still acts like his American Counterpart, but I have to agree with you guys, was a mullet really necesary?

Ok I guess your right the wolverine one is a little strange, but it's ok. It's a new spin on the character
