Yeah I had to have my wisdom teeth cut out. With a bone saw. I remained conscience though because the gas cost 300 dollars, and my parents didn't want to pay for it. As it turns out, gas was actually a worst choice. You can't eat before the surgery, and you feel like crap for awhile.

Anyway, the experience was allright. I tell you, there's nothing like feeling a bone saw cut away at your jaw. But what got me was when my dad was talking to the doctor while he was cutting, and the doctor looked up at him for a few seconds.

Pay attention to what you're doing! That scared me.

Dentist:"Don't worry! This won't hurt a bit!"

Me:"Uhh... Okay... What's that whirring noi-ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHBIEUBCNIUENLSDJOCUEOYBY!!!"

I hate getting cavities filled. Why do they have to make the hole bigger to fill it?

Edit:Just reading this is making me get a toothache.

One of the worst experiences of my life happened in a dentist, i seriously have to try and repress this for the sake of my sanity. I had to have 4 teeth removed, 2 at a time in 2 different sessions. First 2 no issue, out in a second, a lot of blood but no pain. Second 2 were different. First one came out fine, Second one hurt when he tried. I managed to mime that more anasthetic was needed, another needle (this makes 4 over all so far for the session), still pain and blood now building up from the other gaping hole in my mouth. Another needle full of different anesthetic (5), still no change. As he took out the sixth needle i made him pull it anyway, im not a fan of needles, most horrible feeling of my life. So one side of my mouth hurt like a ***** and the other side was almost full of blood. I nearly passed out after doing all the paper work. I still shudder when i remember this moment.

The anesthetic kind of worked but only a few cm in. It was like an echo of immense pain that kind of came from the very core of my tooth. Very real to feel however. The crunch of it coming out didnt help iether. Aparently this was VERY unusual, i dont blame him at all, teeth pulling isnt that bad to be honest.

ugh. i was having my root canals de-nerved and to do this the dentist has to drill into the tooth and take out the nerves with a small needle. The drilling part hurt, of course, but the worst part was when the dentist tried to take out the nerve. She actually poked the nerve with the needle. It hurt like hell.

I realized quite recently that the reason they refer to the tools as numbers is because their real names would scare us off.
Their real names sound like this: The colonel, The punisher, The talons of Salothsar, etc.

Once, I fell of my bike and hit my front teeth in the ground. It was at low speed, so it wasn't very painful, but the dentist check afterwards was.

They wanted to check if any nerves were destroyed/ripped out/something, because that might harm/kill the teeth. The way they checked this was with electricity. It went something like this:
Dentist: Do you feel anything now
Me: No
Dentist: How about now
Me: Not sure
Dentist *turns up the voltage by more than in the previous steps*: How about...
Me: WhaaraglearglghlYES!

after my baby teeth fell out i found out that one of my incisors was not there.. so they had to add some powered cow bone into my gum. then 6 months after that they put in an implant.. then 6 months after that they attached a fake tooth...

so yeah lots of morphine and hydrocodone....
