Recently I tried to install a free MMO called Perfect World, and boy, was it awful. The game had to go through no more than 3 installation processes, and canceling any of them at any time would make you have to go back to the beginning. Not only that, but the game takes up about 8 GB by the time it's all done, and half of it are in files you will never use. Also, it makes you think at several occasions that you're missing key files, but really you aren't. Checking for the missing files will freeze or slow down your computer, and takes twice as long as the original install. Then, after all that, there's a patch and update that ALSO has to install files to your PC, taking up more space and time. I gave up and deleted it because I just didn't want to find out after all that the game wouldn't play.

GTA 4, I had to create 3 accounts to get it up and running, then I created 2 rockstar online accounts so I could play multiplayer. And then when I went on to Fallout 3 (which I bought on steam) all my save games were gone!(3 level 20s and assorted others) worst install ever.

Either WoW or Oblivion.

WoW has to update and patch over and over and over again, and is hassle.

My Oblivion disk is scratched so when I try to install it, errors pop up during the instalation. I have to take the disk out wipe it (and blow on it out of habit from NES). Eventually it works, but one time it didn't. It wouldn't uninstall and I had to system restore to get it off.

CRYSIS demo on a laptop that couldn't run it (I didn't know at the time, since I wasn't a PC gamer) over the internet with a shitty connection rate.

Took 5 hours. Wouldn't even play.

Most of my Steam Games, thanks to my shitty connection

Oblivion, but just because of the loads of mods I've got it working with. It'd literally take me 2 hours installing every mod manually.

Nox.1 and a half hour of installing and you finish the entire game with all 3 classes in 2 days.

I must've been about ten or so and I tried installing Pharoah. It took two hours and scarred me whenever installations are concerned. The runner up is WoW. The patches took a full eight hours to install.

I've been trying to install GTA:SA for about two days now. I keep getting an I/O error that kills explorer.exe about half the time.

Spore. Though not specifically the game itself, more a little programme called the EA Download Manager. That thing must have came straight from the bowels of hell itself...

Unfortunately, the actual installation was only the start of the fun.

It's been uninstalled now anyway, so it's all good.

WoW. I swear to the gods, that's a whole ritual on it's own. When I last installed it right before WotLK came out....o that was awfull. First all the vanilla WoW cd's, then all the BC cd's, thén all the frakking patches. Awfull.

Crysis. I finally got it to install after 3 days. It would install nearly to completion, then give some weird error, then cancel the install. After searching online for days and nothing worked, I installed it on an old computer, copied the entire installation to an external hard drive, pasted it on my newer computer, and the game worked. Surprisingly, I also experienced no further bugs (unlike a lot of people, apparently, as I've heard a lot about how buggy the game is).
