Worst online trolling moment in a video game

The worst incident that I have ever had was when a person started screaming at me because he didn't like the way I played. I muted him. moments later, he starts yelling at me again. I checked to see if he was still muted and it said he was, but I could still hear him. The guy unmuted himself by hacking some how. I quit the game and started finding a new one. He promptly joined my session in progress and started yelling at me again. This happened for a long time and didn't stop until a few days later, when he probably go bored.

After I started soldier-blasting his ass and our team was pounding its way to victory, he switched teams and started laughing as if he was just trolling and not desperately trying to save face for being a massive idiot that just got his ass handed to him.

Copious "u mad bro"s were distributed in every direction, because real sarcasm and wit takes effort.

A game of Lost Planet multiplayer, one guy would not shut up for the entire match, most of the time I was first and he was second. For the last 10 minutes or so I did nothing but kill only him over and over again and leave everybody else alone. He was ranting and raving the entire time and must've sent me 15 messages because he ended up dead last.

I was trolled by battle.net yesterday when I was playing Diablo 2. I was muling some rare items (put some items on ground where no one can seen them and then log in with your other character and take them) and after I droped them and logged off battle.net forbid me access to the game for about 3 minutes because it though I was a spambot because I was logging in games for only a short time recently, luckly after I could log in with my other character, the game was still opened and I could take my items.

Warhammer online my one evening on my server someone made a trial account went to the capital city and started posting some of the most obscene text I have ever seen anywhere. It was hilarious but also rather shocking at the same time.

Same thing happened to me like 5 years ago on Ghost Recon 3 I believe for the Xbox. Some guy started yelling your mom jokes so I started saying them back then he started crying because his mom died of cancer. I am going to sound like a douche for saying this but he was being a little ***** about the whole thing I just kept playing while he was hysterically crying into his mic while the rest of our team was trying to calm him down. I probably would have cared more if he hadn't started it.

I was playing online and I started randomly discussing anime and one dude just freaked out and insulted all anime fans, Japan, and animation in general...
So I started playing and singing along to the Soul Eater theme. it was fun.

Back in the day when I played WoW, one of our guild members died overseas while in service.
We made a post on the wow forums about it because he was decently known and in general a really good guy. And a bunch of the trolls from the server starting spamming things like "he deserved to die" "he's rotting in hell for being in the army" "I hope his family gets a mangled corpse" etc.
It was pretty terrible, and I really kinda hated blizz for not doing jack about it when we reported them.

The worst part is, we're playing a game, and they try to troll me...for doing what? Being way better at the game then they are?...I don't get it.

I accidentally shot a six year old in Reach afew weekends ago, ok maybe he was ten or eleven, he promptly started screaming, I mean SCREAMING to high heaven, meanwhile he had ran directly into my line of fire to scoop my kill which he did I got the assist, I told him very nicely that a dumb thing to do and not polite, after the match his mom promptly messaged me telling me not to teach her son manners. -shakes head-

So, I was just chilling with my friends on L4D. We wanted to relax and play versus, and of course we were all on the same team. At the time, we were campaign players and didn't have a lot of skill in versus.

Of course a tournament winning team (I didn't know them at the time, but after I started looking into the competitive L4D scene..yeahh) strolls in and completely stomps us their round as survivor. At first we were like "Wow these guys are good, I wonder what they'll be like as infected!" and decided to take the challenge. Well, after they finished their survivor turn they went straight for insulting us in ridiculous amounts, they assumed we were a competitive team, not a casual team of new-to-versus friends.

Needless to say, we left. Scarred me for life, that match did. I can't play versus with friends anymore because of that. D': *sob*

I was playing Red Dead and these three guys in some posse started yelling at me because I was literally destroying them. So after maybe the the 13th kill I got(didnt die once),They started screaming shit at me like *fuck you ya stupid sp#c!*, and *Suck my dick you J#w! My grandfather killed your grandparents in the Holocaust!*. One of them even said to me*You suck at this game because your just an Ignorant, stupid nig#ger!*. None of this would really hurt me since im White,Irish,German, but my friends were playing online and guess what. My friend Andy is Jewish,and My other friend that I have known since I was 5 is black so yeah.Even worse, 5 minutes later this guy came in and he was Spanish so he joined our posse and we kept killing them until they left. A war was won that day, A war was won.

I like this story, this is the second thread I've gotten to post it in today!

About a year or two back I was playing some Combat Arms, looking to pwn some noobs or whatever, or at least not get pwned myself. So I'm relaxing, getting into it, not really paying attention to my kills, and then all of a sudden I hear the announcer voice tell me I have whatever the highest killstreak is called. I ended up dying shortly after because I was tanking, and by the end of the round I had 35 kills and 4 deaths. Next round, I'm wrecking 'em again, and bam, they ban me. Thought I was hacking. What the hell?

Because anytime it looks like someone is about to start bitching about something game related I just mute them and move on.
As for the vice versa, I wouldn't call this trolling, but it was pretty fun when me and my three friends decided to make our clantags on Modern Warfare 2 resemble cars, and for absolutely no reason in the lobby we all started making car noises for around five minutes...

In Dawn of War II, I was playing a Last Stand game and one of the guys continuously (in caps) kept ranting so many things about America being the freatest country and that it has no racism at all and he kept saying that Australia (where me and the other guy lived) was the most racist country and that it was a shithole and that everything about it was crap. Then he starts going on about how every single country is bad and how America is superior in every way. And it was all in caps! There was no reasoning with him so me and the other guy just left. Plus he kept blaming slavery in America on other countries, even ones that never had anything to do with it.
