Worst owning you ever got

Ever been smashing an Elite's face when suddenly those two Hunters you knew would show up smack you away, then double-gun your ass Pulp Fiction-like? Or just shot an explosive barrel at an Overwatch just to have some god-sent paint brush or something equally as obscure ricochet off five things just to peg you in the head? More recently in Left 4 Dead I got choked by a Smoker while a Hunter was scratching me, plus some zombie curbstomps (I kinda wish in that game you got the CoD4 option to 'take the cowards way out').

In The Darkness, when you shoot up Jackie's uncle in the end, I thought he just cursed at me and was dying painfully (and deservedly), when I turned around to leave, he shot me dead.
People who have not played The Darkness or most other FPS games might not know that you usually have to restart a level if you die.
I'm not really complaining though, that level is the most fun I've had with an FPS
