Would it be worth it?

Okay so Skyrim is out and everyone has already said goodbye to everyone they know so they can go burn, maime, and shout things to death...and don't forget stripping the fields bare of any and all ingredients.

But, my question is would it be worth it for Bethesda to create an Elder Scrolls that encompasses the entire continent of Tamriel?

Now the thing is they could go two ways with this. First they could create an MMO which allows you to pick a race and start in the homeland of that race. For example if you pick Argonian then you'll start in Black Marsh etc. Or they could create a single player, the only problem with this is that it will take a very long time to develop and even finish when you're playing it.

The MMO (Yes granted that it will be almost the same to World of Warcraft except with better graphics and more realistic) will allow you to interact with others etc you know the drill. The single player could include a threat that is a danger to all of Tamriel and in order to fight it each and every province would have to band together.

So my question is would it be worth it for Bethesda to do this and if so which one should they do? The MMO or the single player?

In my opinion the MMO would be the better option because then there would be a lot more to do and experience.

It would be a huge, massive undertaking that would probably take about 10 years to make.

However, they said (if memory servers) that they would never make an Elder Scrolls MMO, so I doubt we'll see all of Tamriel in one game.
