Ah,Rapture, the place of dreams. Underwater, capitalism all around, plasmids for everyone...at the start.

Then,splicers,little sisters and a city breaking apart,both literally,and figuratively.

But,would you live there?

Yes. What? For god's sakes man,it's a bloody paradise! You can inject yourself with Adam and set people on fire, turn them to ice or even mix and match!(Bioshock 2) Plus Sander Cohen, the only person in the world who actually seems a bit like me,even Atlas agrees.

"Cohen's an artist, says some. He's a Section Eight, says I. I've seen all kinds of cutthroats, freaks, and hard cases in my life, but Cohen, he's a real lunatic, a dyed-in-the-wool psychopath..."

P.S Sorry about no poll, but I suck at remembering.

Hmm, Whilst the superpowers and swingin' 60's style is appealing, i love the sun and sky too much to give them up forever.

I'm going to go against popular opinion and not become a mutant.

Would I go on a holiday to a Rapture if holiday meant shooting beas out of my hand at aforementioned mutants? Yes.

Oh Jesus, don't ask that he'll start his sixty-page speech up again.

[small]Nice reference[/small]
Not that the other characters are any better - a 13 page speech is still pretty horrific.
Don't make me relive it! I only read that book because I liked the philosophy, but it was BORING as hell! I can't even finish The Fountainhead even though it's much shorter.

I'd live there for the environment alone. I love the whole art-deco style. Wouldn't mind setting a few people on fire too, that'd be fun.

Probably.

I'd also probably try to take over.

Who is John Galt, anyway?
John Galt was a millionaire, a man of inestimable wealth. He was sailing his yacht one night, in mid-Atlantic, fighting the worst storm ever wreaked upon the world, when he found it. He saw it in the depth, where it had sunk to escape the reach of men. He saw the towers of Atlantis shining on the bottom of the ocean. It was a sight of such kind that when one had seen it, one could no longer wish to look at the rest of the earth. John Galt sank his ship and went down with his entire crew. They all chose to do it.

I know who is John Galt. It?s a secret, but I know it.
He was an explorer; the greatest explorer that ever lived. The man who found the Fountain of Youth. John Galt spent years looking for it. He crossed oceans, and he crossed deserts, and he went down into forgotten mines, miles under the earth. But he found it on top of a mountain. It took him ten years to climb that mountain. It broke every bone in his body, it tore the skin off his hands, it made him lose his home, his name, his love. But he climbed it. He found the fountain of youth, which he wanted to bring down to men. Only he never came back. Because he found that it couldn?t be brought back down

We are!

Also, Dagny's a bit of a whore. I wonder how this will translate into the 2011 film?
