Would You Play a Realisitc War Game?

Emphasis on the realism. I mean 1 shot = 1 kill and getting shot in certain areas will do more or less damage than others etc. Not just "Get shot in the torso 6 times? Just take cover for five seconds, you'll be fine." And no dual wielding shotguns! You could also bleed to death and be incapacitated from being shot in your kevlar vest. I'm talking full on realism, would you?

I'd be an Urban sniper, and watch as the noobs say "WHAT DO YOU MEAN RESPAWN TIMER IS 1 HOUR??!! (everyone would respawn at the same time, calling it "Reinforcements".

I'd love it and hate it.

No one would be dumb enough to rambo, and everyone would be a guy behind a UAV or a sniper.

I see what you mean, but I'm talking about a game that shows gamers a perspective of war other than being shot 60 times and still being able to fire a gun, much less sprint around for a bit. I've met people who've said that they play MW2 to train for joining the USMC. That right there made me lose faith in humanity.

Well snipers cause the highest amount of agro and as soon as someones squad mate is killed they are going to find you and KILL YOU!

Depends how realistic it really is.
Some people consider Hardcore in MW2 'Realistic'
I like that mode but it is not realistic.

Some people find Operation Flashpoint very fun, and it seems to be the most realistic i have played. I HATE this game, simply because its so tedious

I think Battlefield 2 for PC (Not Bad Company) and the Rainbow Six games to be the best balance of realism and playability IMO


Also, its unrealistic to Dual Wield anything

Same here considering people that think MW2 is anywhere close to actual military service is pretty funny IMO.

The Battlefield series is the most acurate depiction of war out there in my opinion.
(Besides the humor and health packs.)

I simply mean the weapon sounds, effects, apperances.
Also fucking up the enviroment around you is really fun.

Swat 4 seems to me to be one of the most realistic games i've seen (and i haven't seen or played many), though it's not a war game it's still an FPS
it has somewhat real consequences to it and you can die in like two or three hits if your shot in the legs your slowed down significantly, if your shot in the arms you aim turns to shit that and you actually have to follow police regulations

Would i play one, yeah i guess though fps games aren't my thing i'd certainly give it a try

Most frustrating game in the entire world.

On the hardest setting, you can't kill ANYONE without your score being too low to pass. It is the most annoying thing in the entire world. You can't shoot anyone until they shoot you, and if they shoot you, your fucked.
