Would you want to see more "End of Zoe" gameplay in future Resident Evil games

If you don't know End of Zoe is one of the spin offs from Resident Evil 7 but in this game you play as Joe Baker. What makes him different from other character is that not only he mostly uses hand to hand combat but he can also do combos. So bottom line is that Joe Bakers gameplay is fun as all hell and I want to see more of it in future Resident Evil games.

I had a great time with the main game but haven't played the DLC yet. I found RE7 a fulfilling romp but with little to no replay value so it didn't really left me wanting more. Maybe in a year or two when I decide to replay the game I'll include all the DLC.

Anyway, I don't care what they do to the series now. It's dead to me.

What killed it?

A lot of people tend to see RE7 as a resuscitation of sorts for the series.

I just finished watching Supergreatfriend play through the DLC and thought it was fantastic, and hilarious, and probably the best part of the game. But it probably wouldn't have been as good if it didn't have the more somber horror main playthrough to contrast to.
