Writing a speech..

..I've sort of been curtailed into writing my Graduation Class's Valedictorian speech for grad, and there's a lot of pressure on me to do this right. Thing is, I have NO idea how long this is supposed to be, and what I'm really supposed to be touching on. Any fellow escapists want to help me out?

Relax. No one remembers their class' speaker. Find some famous inspirational quotes, make a few crappy jokes, and don't go too fast. Public speaking sucks but freaking out won't help.

You could just talk for a few minutes about how the experiences you had a class made it so yours is THE BEST CLASS EVAR! I had to listen to that before finally graduating, and this was a couple days ago. Just don't use "I" too much, it makes you sounds obnoxious and don't be too cliche, it makes you sound uninteresting.

Just some tips, but don't worry too much, it's just a few minutes. Good luck.
