But as for something that's actually a real part of the game, I'd say the potato quest in Oblivion. You have to beat an Ogres standing twenty feet away from an inn to get a sack of giant potatoes, which you then deliver to some lady inside the inn.

The quest itself isn't that confusing. What I'm confused about is why the hell they bothered to put that in the game.
